Yes, Raleigh is not too far away at all. I have some friends who have come from that area to attend seminary here. They always talked about it being a day drive.
I love to watch racing. I usually follow the Sprint Cup of Nascar, because that is what my younger likes to watch. The photos on my page, which I need to add new pictures, are from the Indy 500. This year will mark my 22nd year, my wife's 21st, and my boys have never missed. I love the feeling when you get to the track. It is even more incredible, if you get a chance to camp outside the track on the night before, but we have not done that, since our kids have been born. I can never describe to people the awesomeness of race day!
I look forward to meeting you in person.

Corbin has quite a few big events throughout the year. I am always talking from someone down that way, and they are mentioning some new event that I never heard of. lol One of these times, I am going to make it to the Nibroc Festival. It sounds like a great time down there.

Cool! When I lived just outside of Wichita, Kansas, I was just a couple of miles away from Speedway 81, which is a 1/4 mile oval dirt track. During the season, I could hear them run every Saturday and special events. Surprisingly, I only made it out to the track a couple of times. I did get to watch the Outlaws once from inside the oval. That was pretty cool!
